Very easy to make and delicious served alone, as a burger or rolled into meatballs. You could very easily just bake instead of fry or just fry until cooked. I like to finish in the oven for a slow well-cooked result.
Prep Time 5 minutes mins
Cook Time 10 minutes mins
- 400 g Beef Mince
- half an Onion grated
- 1/2 cup Ready Brek or Ground Porridge Oats
- 1/2 cup Milk
- a tsp Mixed Herbs I like to use rosemary and oregano
- a tbsp Sunflower Oil
Combine your ready brek and milk to form a paste.
Stir in your beef mince, onion and herbs.
Use your hands to roll and shape into your desired burger sizes. I tend to make 6 reasonably thin ones.
Pan fry for about 3 minutes on each side over a medium heat with your oil.
Place them on a lined baking tray and bake for a further 10 minutes at 180C.
