Full of nutrients, great to have on the go as a more filling snack or even a healthier pudding option. I always offer smoothies after evening meals, especially where I'm worried younger children might not have eaten enough. You can also adjust some of the ingredients to suit, whether i'm wanting to add a little extra fibre, protein or so on.
400mlMilk I use nut/oat milk, but dairy would work too.
a Banana
1/2Avocado
ahandful Strawberries
ahandful Raspberries/Blueberries/Blackberries Whichever berries you have to hand.
atsp Honey
atbspChia Seeds
atbspGround Flax I use the Linwoods one which also has ground brazil nuts.
Instructions
Add all your ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
If you're using frozen fruit make sure these are blended properly.
Notes
Whenever I add avocado I’ll always balance the flavour with a bit of honey. If I’m wanting it to be a little more fulling i’ll add a small handful of oats.
