An easy-to-make twist on the classic chocolate covered cereal ones. With oats, coconut and almonds, these are a great source of fibre and much lower in sugar than their more traditional counterparts. You can top with whatever you fancy, we went for raspberries, blueberries and mini eggs!

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g Coconut Oil
  • 4 tbsp Honey/Maple Syrup or agave nectar (no honey for under 1's)
  • 1 tbsp Almond Butter
  • 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 60 g Rolled Oats
  • 60 g Desicated Coconut
  • 30 g Ground Almonds

Instructions
 

  • In a pan melt your coconut oil, nut butter and honey/maple syrup together.
  • Stir in your cocoa powder.
  • Mix in your coconut, oats and almond.
  • Place a spoonful into your cupcake cases and then use a smaller spoon to shape gently into a nest.
  • Refrigerate for at least an hour.
  • Add whatever toppings you fancy and enjoy!

We went for blueberries, raspberries and mini eggs to top!
